This is because without the courage to push on, how can their vision ever happen? It's more than taking on adversity when it comes shows up on your door step. Courage is when you are putting your vision together and the self doubt starts to raise it's ugly head and says what you are trying to create cannot work. That is when true courage is needed. Outside demons are easy to identify and raise shields against. The internal ones are sneakier and need a deeper courage to truly fend off. It is so easy to do what is easy or fun at the moment. So easy to give in to the temptation that happens when others aren't looking. Maybe no one will find out. Then how can it hurt? That's when character is most important. It is imperative that a visionary leader maintains their character. It almost always is found out by someone. If you maintain being the person you want people to know you as, then when others see you being that person when you don't know they're watching, it will make the right impact on the right people and they WILL remember. This MUST be taught.
