As I talked about in question 3, God makes us feel secure because he is the only person that is with us everywhere we go in a way that nobody else is. We are constantly with God at every point in our lives, from the moment we are born to the moment we die and after we die in Heaven. Nothing makes me feel more secrure than knowing I have a connection with a higher being that wants me to do well in life and has plans for me and my success with his help.

However, I think it is the choice of the person whether they choose to grow in a relationship with God and choose to depend on him absolutely and solely. Although Mary was independent, she was extremely faithful and never sinned; she depends on her connection with God to keep her pure.
