Our school week is 35 hours long and operates from Monday to Friday. Ridgeway is now classed as a 'Good' school by Ofsted (November 2016) and have seen results improve dramatically. Our progress in writing is the best in the whole country (over 22,000 schools) and our reading and maths progress is in the top 1% of the country.

We also make sure we cater for children who have the potential to achieve top results with the highest % of children achieving a higher standard in KS2 in the whole of South Tyneside being at Ridgeway.
