<title>Answer 1: As a parent and a teacher, I feel corporal punishment should continue to be allowed in schools under the stipulation that parents have given the school consent. Corporal punishment should only be used in those instances when there is habitual misbehavior or the student has done something not severe enough to be suspended. Corporal punishment should be the step right before ISS or DAEP. It should be a means to deter kids from continuing the behaviors that are not acceptable in the classroom.</title>

<title>Reflection 1: I completely agree with her statement. Corporal punishment should continue to be administered throughout schools, with parents consent. Although many see corporal punishment as cruel, others see it as an effective method of ensuring that students learn a lesson. This response can be used as an example for parents who are unsure about corporal punishment.</title>

<title>Answer 2: As a part of school personnel, we are required, by law to report any suspicions of any type of abuse. We are to ensure that students are being protected at all times. If a student comes to school personnel and reports abuse to anyone, it MUST be reported immediately. We have to stick to what the child has reported or what we see and make the call immediately to keep the child out of harm&#39;s way.</title>

<title>Reflection 2: Being that I’ve seen what it’s like for a student to go through such struggles, I personally believe that although there is a protocol for these situations, more can be done. Many schools report the issue and resume as normal. Yes, it is Child Protective Services job to handle these situations, many children can be more comfortable with a familiar face. This information can be used to demonstrate a proper way of following protocol. </title>
