I believe that North Korea started the war in 1950, due to NK invading South Korea without any kind of caution to the people of SK.
2. I feel this way because the words "provocation", "invades", and "casualties" being used in the 1950 portion of the timeline.

NK's army invaded SK first so i would think they started it, then U.S came in to defend SK.

3. The relationship btw North and South Korea in 2002 had departed i feel. The U.S has turned on NK, Iraq, and Iran which led to the devision of NK not having oil because the U.S wanted them to stop making nuclear bomb and weapons. 2. The real key words were "invade"  and "defense". When North Korea invaded South Korea, the US defended South Korea.
3. The relationship that North and South Korea have with each other remains very hostile. Event hough there isn't war going on between them anymore there is still tension they have with each other.
