Initial Care- Wash your hands and the wound with soap and water to remove dirt and prevent infection. Apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment or petroleum jelly and cover with a nonstick bandage

Post Care- Change the bandage daily or as needed to keep the wound clean, moist, and protected while it heals
