In our non-formal community setting, our learners need to be taught to recognize faulty sources. Especially when we are searching for information related to agriculture.

As a non-formal educator, it is extremely important to always facilitate safe online learning. By teaching and showing learners how to spot false information in their resources, we can set them up to make better-informed decisions related to what we teach in the community.

Some extension programs have been involved in this effort by providing community training and getting different age groups involved. By mixing up the age groups, we can demonstrate how vital this information is for everyone.
