Write your thoughts about technology in terms of: are the benefits outweighing the risks? Are we overusing technology? Are we addicted to technology?

Technology is a must-need in today's society as everyone judges you by the phone you have or assumes your rich or poor by the phone you carry. Today we all use phones to our convenience whether that be as an alarm, clock, games, camera, pocket computer, our smartphones are literally multiple things all in one pocket sized rectangle. there are a lot of benefits of having a smartphone and sure there are negatives but i feel that whether the negatives outweigh the positives depends on the person using it, but as a society as a whole i feel that we all depend on technology way too much, me included. if i tried to go without technology or even just my phone for an entire day i probably wouldnt last as i probably need to text someone or call someone to check up on them. Addiction to technology really depends on the person using it, but again as a society I feel that its not really that we are addicted to it but more as we use technology so much in our daily lives that its routine or another part of us, like an extension of our bodies.
