I believe we can find a common-sense solution to any problems that arise if we collaborate. Never shall an educator feel they can not speak their mind when the focus is on the betterment of the child. I am a reflective leader who embraces transparency and accountability. I am equally as confident that we will make mistakes together, but that is part of the learning process- let’s model how to embrace change with a positive attitude. If we can do something about it, then there is no need for worry- it’s counterproductive.  
This guideline serves as a means to move forward hand-in-hand in the critical work of educating a generation of informed and thriving citizens who are empowered to challenge the status quo for equality and equity for every citizen. -Paul Lister, OST Principal

Where as elementary teachers need to follow given a curriculum. I like that I get to connect with children on a more personal level.
