The US-based 2016 Horizon Report includes both Blended Learning and Digital Literacy among what is called ‘the near-term solvable challenges’ (NMC, 2016), which require the teaching workforce to be:​</p></li><li><p>Developing new curricula that respond to technological changes in the workplace in each specialist field and which include opportunities for more generic digital skills in every curriculum area;&nbsp;​</p></li><li><p>Planning and managing the change to blended learning;&nbsp;​</p></li><li><p>Using technology to support learners in the classroom, at college, at home and in the workplace;&nbsp;​</p></li><li><p>Using technology to keep abreast of the changing environment for their learners; and​</p></li><li><p>Promoting scalable, innovative course designs.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
