Moving forward and backward

First off, to ride a hoverboard, you have to have a LOT of balance. I have a hoverboard, and I can ride on it no problem. If you want to move forward, then you just tilt your feet forward and you'll go forward! (I recommend holding onto something until you can get the hang of it) Vice Versa with going backwards.

Tricks on a hoverboard!

This video is by a kid Youtuber named Royce. He does lots of crazy videos, and in one he actually got a snowmobile stuck (with his family) in the snow in the woods! He does a really good job, and in this video he is basically a "show-must-go-on" type of kid.

To do the first trick, a 180 spin, you have to jump up and turn your hoverboard (or just jump and spin your body, but I wouldn't recommend doing that).

Next trick, going off the curb, you just basically have to let your hoverboard fall with gravity.

The next one, riding on a curb, is very easy, you just have to find a sidewalk or if your curb on the street curves up you can just go up. You can hop off the curb at any time.

To do the final one, the backwards 360, you just have to lean off to the side and put your leg away from you so that your wheel closest to the leg that's going straight down is staying in the same spot but turning at the same time. It looks VERY cool.

Uksegboards.co.uk is a website that sells hoverboards and shows you how to do tricks. This website is really cool, and if you don't have a hoverboard, you can buy one from here!

#2, The one foot circle, is where you put one foot on the wheel covering and the other right next to it on the pad so that it still spins. It's very impressive!

#3, the turnstyle, is where you turn the hoverboard 180 degrees then you jump and turn in the opposite direction to do another 180

#4, the sitting spin (picture above) is where you sit on your 🤬 on one of the pads and take your feet off of the other pad.

#6, the Incredible Swirl, is where you put your dominant foot on the pad, your dominant hand on the wheel cover, put your other leg behind you, and your other hand to the side.

Balancing on a hoverboard is important because that's how you move on the hoverboard. Hoverboards are tricky to master because they require lots of balance. I recommend starting off with a friend to help you balance while hoverboarding for the first time. only try doing these tricks once you have practiced a lot on it.
