 I live in the countryside, my house is small, however, is beautiful at the same time comfortable, there are many trees and flowers. I get up 5 am, then I shower, I am going to milk the cows, I arrive at seven and I make breakfast, potato broth, eggs too bread and chocolate. 

I work in the house and make lunch, later, I am going give water the cows, I arrive, take care of the children, and cook the dinner. Finally, if I have internet, I do homework of university and go to bed at nine pm, if not, at seven, but see the tv before of sleep.

My name is María del carmen, I am married, I am from Macaravita, I am 32 years old, I am housewife, I am studying at UNAD, I live in the BRICHA, in my free time, I like to read, singer and play basketball with my children.

TALKIN ABOUT MY CITY:

My city is small, but full of joy and friendly people, there are beautiful landscapes and beautiful sunsets, it is also where the stars are best seen.

The typical food is kid, it is prepared sweated or fried accompanied by rice, cassava salad, potato and the rich pepitoria, if you like you can have the broth, it is delicious.

The main celebrations in my town are fairs and festivals, there are always floats on parade, horseback riding and cattle shows, there are also contests and typical dances of the region.

Finally, there are several festivities throughout the year: day of the farmer, Feast of the Virgen del Carmen, and celebration of Holy Week.

foreigners rarely visit us but often families who have left and bring joy and beautiful memories meet.
