The graph shows the global number of tsunamis per year from 1900 to 2023, based on data from NOAA/NCEI. The yellow line represents the annual raw count of tsunamis, while the blue line shows the 5-year moving average. For most of the 20th century, the number of tsunamis per year was relatively low and stable, usually fewer than two events annually. However, there was a steep increase in the early 2000s, with major tsunamis such as the 2004 Sumatra tsunami and the 2011 Japan tsunami marked on the graph. After these events, the number of tsunamis has decreased again, returning to lower levels in recent years.

I am going to talk about what is landslide and what we should do during it. First, I will tell you what landslide is. It is a sudden collapse or sliding of rocks, soils and trees in mountain and valleys, caused by natural or man made factors such as heavy rain or earthquakes. The damage of landslide is that it can cause severe damage to human economy by harming people and breaking houses. The way to prevent it is to remember where landslide shelter is, don't be near the mountain when it is raining heavily.
