  • Invite guest speakers from other cultures to speak about their experiences. Teachers can invite guest speakers to speak about anything that has to do with their culture so that we understand them at a deeper level. This has been done before successfully when Mr Kougiou was invited to speak about Greece, and when people were invited to speak about the Philippines. This leads to the predominantly Chinese students  having a greater understanding of different cultures that we do not face often, therefore we are then able to freely interact with people of the different cultures more easily.

    There can be more activities with exchange programs or working with other schools with a larger population of students from other races engaging in racial programmes. This can also be carried out through exchange programmes with other schools to promote certain races.
       This has been done with a exchange programme with 南京市弘光中学， or the exchange programme with Toyonaka High School in Osaka. 
       This provides opportunities to bond with people of other races and promotes bonding between students of differing racial backgrounds. As we stay in a school with only Chinese majority, we tend to focus only on Chinese culture. International or bonding with schools of other countries can promote strong social-cultural bonds.

    Children from Super Talent Childcare Centre celebrating Racial Harmony Day, they interacted with one another and got to play traditional games such as kuti kuti, five stones, pick up sticks and tikam tikam. 

    They also learnt about the different races in Singapore and how citizens live together in harmony.
