It's the last day of school and Jonas still does not have good grades. He goes to his grandma's house during the summer. He was in the attic when one of his drawings came to life and flew somewhere and he followed it. I found the story interesting because I like adventure stories and how Jonas has a big imagination. At the start Jonas is finishing the school year and is now going home but then he saw his friend Dennis and Dennis gave Jonas some of his school work. Then  Jonas went a into his dad's car and his dad said his reports were bad. Jonas was going to his grandma's house but there was a lot of traffic so it took some time. When he got there he rushed to his bedroom and saw a hatch he always went to, he went in side and got his red, woolly jumper, his backpack and his wooden sword. Then he went into a nearby forest and played and played until he went back for lunch. His dad wanted Jonas to do his homework so Jonas went upstairs got Dennis' work and played and when his dad came jonas give his the work. In the night Jonas played in the place where the hatch is. Then something happened to one of his drawings... It flew! It leaded Jonas to something purple. The next day Jonas came with Dennis' homework but his dad saw and realised that Jonas was cheating and was going to send him to boarding school! Jonas goes back to hos room to go explore the portal he found but then his cat removes the only way to get back.
