I stood in front of the tank, it was for the people. It was horrific what they did to me. But I knew what I had to do. It just felt right. I saw the tanks coming and knew it was my time. I knew that the people's rights were violated. We all had the right to think, we all had the right to be there. I went out there, in front of the tanks. It went back and forth, then I jumped on the tanks. I banged on the hatches and yelled to get out of my city! I did this all because I was tired of all the violence and lack of human rights.

People started to blow things up. The air was gray, and the floor was full of crap. The tanks danced while they were driving away. He was standing there and he just said stop and they stopped. The tanks tried to go around him. Then, the tanks turned off his motor. He climbed on the tank, and started banging on it. Some people pulled him away from the tanks, and he lived. They broke down the door, and stole everything except for the camera. About 15 to 20 minutes they all left. I grabbed the camera and the film, and sent it around the world.

Lots of innocent protesters had died that day. I was at least lucky enough to survive that day. Nobody was allowed to take videos or record this situation. We were protesting for democracy and lack of human rights. On that day lots of rights were violated like, right to life , freedom of expression and no unfair detainment. All of these rights were violated during this time. There was a tenth of the population there. There were elderly's and even little children. They brought large moving vehicles to protest on there were flags and horns. There were a lot of people and it was very loud. When the army came in they used guns, bombs , ect! So when they came it was extremely loud and traumatizing.
