  • People would have safe and decent places to call home

  • Less stigma in conversations (publicly etc.), people being able to speak on these issues without feeling unknowledgeable

  • Elimination of red tape leading to a reduced/no use of system navigators

  • Different entry points to treatment such as community-based settings

  • Safe consumptions sites would be open

  • More support/collaboration with policy-makers + policy officials, less fear/uncertainty about what's coming down the pipeline (ex: impacts of Prop 1)

  • More investment + prioritization for public health + evidence-based programs

  • Reduction of burnout + staff turnover in mental health treatment settings/CBOs/etc.

  • Less reliance on emergency room/psych emergency services

  • Reduction of use of front-end crisis response, 911 calls

  • System that is culturally responsive and diverse and reflective of population it serves
