What I would call special about this place is general ambience and far from drab decor. The building was renovated from the forest milk farm of a distinguished historical figure Jules Benois. The menu offers an assortment of dishes made on wood stove, open fire, smokehouse, bakehouse. The food is pricey, but definitely worth it.

Its feature is blind dinners. Guests are sited in the absolutely dark room and served by utterly blind waiters. They don't see each other, plates and flatware. They see nothing! Visitants don't even imagine how their neighbours and dishes look like. In the case of such extreme situation, the only way is to eat by hands and don't worry about appearance.

But the main purpose is discovering new flavours. Blindness enhances other feelings, taste buds become sensitive, what makes possible to distinguish wide taste spectrum. Thus dishes are perceived more fragrant, intense, rich and bright.

On the other hand, darkness provides healthful rest to eyes and allows not to bother about outfits :)

But this beautiful restaurant has the place in my heart. In small cities like Tula (RF) it's quite difficult to find a place with healthy and quality food, as well as elevator music and pleasant staff.
You can spare your time with a cup of coffee with egg foam (you can see it on the picture, actually I find this kind of coffee only in this place) or you can invite your friends for a dinner; everything you ask will be great!
I know the owners of this "Florentin caffee" and they are very delicate people with 3 nice children. Be sure, that in this restaurant you can try fresh and tasty food every time they are open!

You can have a rest from a long walk and enrich your food experience. Staff is kind and amiable. Atmosphere is full of different adours: fried garlic, grilled vegetables and meat.
Prices are bity but I bet it worth it.

But it is one of the most popular restaurants of our city and is preferred by many people. They serve food which is loved by everybody. The restaurant is very modern and cozy. The staff is friendly. But the most I like about Chicken Hut is that they have a room for children to play and kid’s menu. I am a coffee addict. Their coffee is really delicious. Lots of my friends go there and I would recommend it to everybody.

Their breadsticks are delicious! Of course, for those who watch their diets this might not be a good option because Italian food is really filling. The very first time my boyfriend and I chose the restaurant on a whim. Coming there without planning, we easily got a table. It took a bit until the food came, but probably not more than 30 minutes. The food was delicious, and the portions were of a very decent size. As for the prices, well, they were affordable for Norway as well. The servant gave us very good advice on wines, and as we couldn't decide at first, we got a taste, and then made our minds. The staff was attentive and very polite.
Overall, we had a very good experience and came back there many times after.

The personnel there is welcoming and nice willing to provide good customer service. Chinese cuisine mostly consists of roasted dishes, so I wouldn't recommend this venue only to those with stomach ailments.
I never happened to question the freshness of served dishes. Second courses are large so it would work even if a set of 2 foodies decide to split a second course.
There is a great variety of dishes in the menu even some bizarre ones with side-parts.
The facilities are quite spacious so you wouldn't have to sit on top of each other. I really adore the atmosphere it has a soothing effect on mood. The interiors has decor peculiar of Chinese household

I wouldn't say it is pricey but it is value for money. Also they have a wide selection of beer. My family and my friends also like this place and I think the reason is that it has a profound effect on our good mood.

It's is located in the city centre, but, unfortunatelly, in it's unattractive part. Nevertheless, the restaraunt has an exquisite interior and vibrant ambience. The staff is really welcoming and there is no annoying ear-splitting background music. But the best thing is definitely fresh-prepared food. I have never tried such a delisious kouisine - they are really the best in this field!

The miracle happened two (!!!) weeks before the wedding when we came across Tvrandot: posh, exquisite atmosphere in every detail; staff which provided immaculate service standards; delicious, extraordinary, freshly prepared pan-asian cuisine, live music, and great location in the heart of Moscow - everything here was perfect. The prising here is high, somebody may say rapacious, but it is 100% worth the price.

But the decent menu is not the true attraction of this place.
What really gathers whole families here is the experienced staff, homely vibe, and the general ambience of an old Italian trattoria.

If you are holding your birthday party here, all the staff will gather, sing the "Happy Birthday" song, and offer a bottle of champaign as a compliment from the restaurant.
If you come with the kids they will be welcomed to a nice playground right in the middle of the dining area.

Of course, there are negative sides too.
Don't expect to get a good steak here despite it being present in the menu.
The place can become rather noisy at the weekends when several families with little kids are having birthday parties at the same time.

But as far as I'm concerned these little details are rather insignificant and don't really subtract from San-Pizza's appeal.

I've visited a good deal of cafes and restaurants too to try and find the most suitable one for me. Last year I discovered Divan.
First, I went there because of its location. It stands in the park and has a couple of tables in small gazebos right next to the park green lawns and alleys. So it is very convenient in summer to stop by after a nice bike ride.
Second, now that I've become so deeply familiar with the menu, I should say they have a wide selection of dishes. My personal favourite is rolls.
Their decor is definitely not drab. It has oriental notes in everything you see there.

My favourite place to have a chit-chat with a friend of mine is a small cafe right in the center of St. Petersburg. It has homely ambience, ingratiating staff and fresh main courses and bakery.

The design is mainly comprised of wooden furniture making the atmosphere very warm and cosy, especially in winters. Windows open out onto Ligovsky prospect, you can observe people walking by you, although they can not see you.

Welcoming staff is always ready to recommend a meal according to your preferences.

Prices are of an average level of a St. Petersburg cafe.

My favorite meals are chicken soup with croutons and carrot cake.

They serve freshly prepared food that is the most delicious in the town. And though we have a deep familiarity with the menu we are not tired of it. We have some favorites, but also like trying something special for dessert. And the desserts are really superlative there! And what I like most about them is the exquisite presentation.
The ingratiating staff contributes to the homely atmosphere. Sometimes you are welcomed by the owner himself and you feel the most cherished guest.
The interior decor is simple but nice. I enjoy the table layouts with gentle flowers.
The only disadvantage I can mention is ear-splitting background music when there are some celebrations at the cafe. In that case you are not able to talk to each other. But when it is an ordinary evening all is just amazing.
