I believe humanity's control over nature is a brief exception to the nature of the our existance. This kind of goes along with our last discussion, but if our population continues to grow, it would eventually reach a carrying capacity. Therefore I think nature will still control us in the long run. Wether it be from too great a population, or from environmental damages, there will be negative effects that come to our population as a whole due to our industrialization and control over nature. That being said, if we continue to control nature, we will again be at the mercy of nature, who would again dictate our actions by making it harder to survive. It may be a long time from now though.

I perfer a conservationist approach, but I can see where preservationists are coming from, because I don't see our development stopping anytime soon. I think that the resources on earth are here for us to use, but I don't think people will stop wanting to exploit them for their own benefit. The implementation of large scale preservation seems too dificult to do on a global scale.

Ensuring environmental justice for all human comunities is nearly impossible, as people have different ways in which they interact with the land, and would disagree about how it should be managed. Also, there are often wars fought over land rights, and people fight over lands even if they have the same use for it. Ensuring that all parties have justice in a common environment would require the mutual agreement and cooperation of all of the parties and individuals involved, which would pose great challenges.
