However, even when the car tyres cracked the nut, the crow could not eat as there were too many cars passing by. When there is a drought and there are no food for the kangaroos, the mother kangaroo (if pregnant) has the ability temporarily stop the development of the embryo as to conserve energy and resume development of the embryo when there is more food.
(it is a structural adaptation as it has the ability to do so and it is not like all species can do so)
Kangaroos have large, strong tendons in their hind legs that lets the kangaroos have a sort of bouncing movement that uses less energy than running. it is also faster than some animal's running speed.
