I had to create a hypothesis based off information provided to me and do an experiment based on my hypothesis. When my hypothesis did not reflect the information given, I had to rethink about my hypothesis and experiment.
Another experience would be when I learned about colors in my first art class. I did not know I could mix two colors to make another color. By using the discussion boards I am able to reflect what I know, what I have learned , and what I have experienced to relate to the topics being discussed.
Another experience would be when I was asked how did I feel about the way history is being taught in the classroom. I never took the time to actually think about the information I had been taught until I was asked that question. Our teacher came up with the concept of having a store in the classroom and we would have money so we would be able to learn how to count money and how money is used in everyday life.
Another experience would be when I was in elementary school and could not get the concept of multiplying as quickly as I wanted to. This when my grandma would relate multiplying to money. While working on the assignment we were able to see what ideas each person would brainstorm, what kind of strategies we would like to use in our lesson or what kind of assessments we would like to use. I like collaborating with others because we could see what ideas we brainstormed and provide support for one another.
Another experience would when I was running track in middle school. I would run the 4x4 relay.
