One is going to a place, and the other is something I did for myself. This summer I went with my family and our friends (who have three kids) to York, Maine. We love York! We stayed in my friend's house and were able to walk to the beach, stores, ice cream shops, and restaurants. The water was really cold, but since it wasn't too hot I could sit on the beach for hours without sweating. We also went on a sailing trip that was really cool. This summer I also set aside time to read books that I wanted to read. Three years ago my family and I planned a trip to Alaska and it was cancelled each year due to Covid. We were finally able to go this year and it was incredible, but one of my favorite parts was the zipline. My husband, daughter, son, and I took two gondolas to the very top of a tall mountain and rode the zipline down! It was a mile and a half ride at 65 mph! All of the family on my dads side live there, and because of Covid we haven’t been able to see them in a while. Me, my two brothers and my parents had to fly for about 7 hours to get there. Seeing my cousins is always amazing, but what makes going to Canada so much more fun is the activities we get to do together. We went to a huge trampoline park and a water park with about 20 rides!
