It is a quiet village where 1159 people live. The village is built near a volcanic hill called Oxylithos and on the top of the hill is the church Evaggelistria.
The Surroundings: Around the village there are hills and mountains. In winter it is cold because of the snow in the mountains.
The History of the village: The volcanic hill in the south of the village is about 11.000.000 years old. In the village there are two blocks of flats and a lot of houses. There are also nice neighbourhoods.
Oxylithos is my village and I love it very much.
