Making sure there was the right teacher that understood Damian. Technology was important to access the curriculum for his needs. Damion used a device to help him communicate verbally. Picture cards and word cards helped him make choices as well as spelling cards. The students were very accepted to Damion. The principal sent a letter home letting the parents know about Damian's arrival. The special ed teachers have meeting with the parents and principal to let the parents know how their student was doing. Damian's parents are happy with hoe Damian is doing in school and with the help of the teachers.
