They are both stuck in a labyrinth that Daedalus created. Furthermore, the person who traped them was the king. Also, Icarus flew too high and died because of the heat of the sun. Those are some of the problems that Icarus and Daedalus are having.

I think the problems that they have is that Icarus and Daedalus are trapped by the king on an island and they can't get out. They have to build wings to escape but it may take some time. But then another problem occurs when Icarus flew too high and got too close to the sun. His wings imidietly burn and falls into the water.

Madison- Icarus, and Daedalus had some problems in the story. For example, they were trapped on an island and they don't know how to escape. Another example is that the wings Icarus was using fell apart or didn't work and he plunged to the ground at the bottom.

Icarus and Daedalus were stuck in a tower in Crete which King Minoes had put them there. The king forced them to stay there because Daedalus was the person who knew the secret to the labyrinth that Daedalus built. They have to escape but they have to fly just to escape their dad made wings out of feathers glued together with wax, but they still had to be careful not to get close to the son because it would melt the wax on the wings and they would fall to their death.
