If you want , you can go by ship, because it’s easier to into your car on the ship and when you arrive to Menorca you can move where ever you want. 
Also, Menorca has a good restaurants, a wonderful beaches and differents places to visit.

We have thought that this town is ideal for couples because the atmosphere is quiet. All the houses are made of stone like in the Pyrinees but near Barcelona and is very nice to walk.
Also, there are some restaurants wich offers  typical food of Catalunya.
