Indian shlokas are ancient Sanskrit verses that convey deep philosophical, devotional or ethical wisdom.

I am reading two shlokas. The first is about the elephant God - Ganesh, remover of obstacles whenever a new task is undertaken. The second is for the “divine light” which brings prosperity, good health & abundance of wealth.

The poem’s message, “Everyone is different, and everyone is wonderful.” felt especially meaningful to us. We felt this fits beautifully with the TISKL community, where students from many countries, regions, and cultural backgrounds learn together and shine.

We sat down together and brainstormed all the little things Hridya enjoys and some of the recent moments that made her smile. From Holi celebrations to music, recipes, books, space, and ice cream, we gathered these ideas and slowly stitched them together into this poem.

It may not be perfect, but the process of thinking, laughing, and writing it together was truly enjoyable.

I have written this poem all by myself. While i was learning rhyming. I am presenting this in a rap style.

Rhyming gives language a rhythm, almost like a beat you can tap your foot to. That’s why songs, poems, and even chants feel so catchy—they flow.

Coming up with rhymes is like solving tiny puzzles

Sometimes you start with one word and end up building a whole idea just to make it rhyme.

A tiny seed sleeps in the ground,

It waits for rain, the sun, and light,
