To get the area, you need to multiply the length by the width of that object.
(How to get the popsicle stick's area)
The popsicle stick's area is (length: 15cm) times (width:1.5cm)= 22.5cm.
(It is about the area of 2 erasers.)
To get 10 popsicle stick's area, you just multiply 1 popsicle stick's area 10  times. 22.5 times 10= 225cm.

What about 100 sticks?
10 times 10 is 100. So, multiply 225 by 10. 225 times 10=  2250cm

2250 times 10 is 22500!
