This article was from Pew Research Center release date- October 31, 2017 and its about Most think the ‘American dream’ is within reach for them By Samantha Smith. This talks about people achieving the American Dream in many different ways. The American dream means different things to different people, however. Far fewer Americans who have already achieved their American Dream with only having a high school knowledge or less didn't get there with what they got. The people with the college degrees that have achieved their American Dream is way higher than the high school or less. These article also have in different shows people have lots money, and having a great career in how its essential, important, and not important. Most people say that having lots of money is important having a American Dream, and having a successful career (also 43%) are essential to their view of the American dream, but (50%) show that having a successful is important. Just 11% of the public say “being wealthy” is essential, and 49% say it’s important. I agree with these people in working hard getting your college degree, getting lots of money, and having determination, going for what people want is needed in order to have the American Dream.

This article is from the HuffPost 05/29/2015 12:03 pm by David Castillo this talks about 30-year-old Yazmin Abreu of Orange County, California. Yazmin arrived in the United States as a child. When she went to school she had some problem in school it was hard for her. she was able to overcome these challenges. In middle school, Yazmin discovered that she was an undocumented immigrant, but she was determined in going to college , and getting on task by doing hard work. Once she had went to college everything of her hard work and dedication finally paid off when, in 2012, Yazmin graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in health science education. I agree in having determination and doing hard work will help people in the long run of the American Dream because most people say paying for college is too much money well they are wrong when you work hard and get what you wanted and achieved the American Dream people could pay off what they have stated, then be free, and have a happy life.

This songs is Awake and Alive - Skillet released at 2009 the song features altering male/female vocals between frontman John Cooper and new drummer Jen Ledger. This talk about that no one has the right to do that and you shouldn't allow those negative influences to put you down. When Cooper said, “Stand my ground and never back down/ I know what I believe inside/ I'm awake and I'm alive”. This shows that he is going to not give up, stand up fight, and he knows in what he wants. Cooper wanted to make people feel “Awake” like when something bad happens, and you’re don't want to let people see you like this that when he said “Awake” to not care in what people will think about to have determination to keep going in what you really wanted. I agree with him to not let people putting you down and fighting in the you believe, and determined about what you want it will happen.

This is The Problem We All Live With is a 1964 painting by Norman Rockwell. This girl is Ruby Bridges, a six-year-old African American girl, on her way Elementary School, an all-white public school. This was a big deal at the time because most African Americans didn't get the chance in going to school even a white public school. She was threats and violence against her, she is escorted by four deputy U.S. marshals. Ruby Bridges, in a white dress, carrying her school books, pencils and a ruler. This shows that she is not giving up in what she wants, so make her determined. The crowds taunting and threatening the child as she walks toward the school. Ruby Bridges is not having a easy life when she is going to school, by how the crowd is throwing tomatoes at her. Even though this is happening to her she don't give up and she puts in determination, and hard work. At the time from all this Ruby Bridges was a really strong girl some people in her shoes will just give up, and don't go for what they wanted to accomplishes in their lives, but she don't care in what white people think in a African American girl is going to a white Public elementary school that will not even stop her. I agree with this painting in how it shows how strong determination, and having hard work for the American Dream.

I choose my sister to interview because I knew that she had some kind of knowing of the O.J. Simpson idea, and I just wanted to know what she thinks about O.J. Simpson, and because my parents were working and I didn't have time to interview my parents. I didn't know when I told her about the American Dream that she knew what was the American Dream because she has not reached that goal yet , and the part of telling me what people need to achieve the American Dream. When my sister talked about the American Dream even though she did not achieved it, but she is on her way in achieving it by working hard, and having determination. My sister said that she works very hard during school, and determined what she wants; she even has a job and she’s working very hard everyday. I truly agree about what she said in people achieving with hard work, and determination. Without hard work the American Dream isn’t going to come crawling to your feet; people need to put time effort in order to have a American Dream.
