I wonder what, if any, impact would take place in second grade learners who struggle in basic problem solving using numbers up to 50, regularly using the software Thinking Blocks on the free website mathplayground.com for the duration of the case study in this course. Guiding questions: Would learners develop increasingly accurate skills in representing a problem in the form of an equation? Would learners be better able to identify an operation to successfully solve similar problems from a pre-test to a post-test? Would learners feel more confident in their ability to understand what the problem is asking?
