Reflect on Gerda's story. Keep in mind she was 15 when the Holocaust occurred. Are we as a society immune from this happening again?

We as a society can never be fully immune to something like the holocaust happening again. The Nazis in the beginning were normal people just like all of us. They were brainwashed into their anti-Semitic views and trained to do the things that they did. If people are desperate for a leader, they can be persuaded into doing inhumane things like the things that occurred during the Holocaust.

There is no guarantee that something like the Holocaust will never happen again. It is much less likely to occur now, as we have this tragedy to reflect on and learn from. The mass media we have today serves as a tool for awareness that allows people to advocate for themselves and others facing hatred today and permitting it from forming tomorrow.

We as a society will never be immune to mass 🤬. In my opinion, the most people can do to prevent something like that happening again is to get educated. There is still mass 🤬 in other places of the world going on right now and many people are not aware of it. This topic is not as big as it should be in mass media. For example the holocaust was in the back of newspapers because most did not care or did not believe. We as a society can do more for the victims of 🤬.

Gerda's story, and the stories of those like her, will live on forever as a reminder of the atrocities humans will do to their own kind. She was forced to watch as all of her loved ones were slaughtered. 🤬 on a mass scale can happen at any time, in fact it has happened around 20 times since WWII. I believe the next time we see 🤬 on a scale such as WWII it will be the last time, the next mass 🤬 will spark the war that truly ends all wars.

As history has shown, once one enemy was defeated, another has risen and has caused destruction and sometimes 🤬. When the Nazis were defeated, the Communism arose and killed many. When the Cold War died, terrorism arose and terrorism has/is/will slaughter many and when terrorism, there will be something else to take its place and destroy lives on a massive scale. But as time goes on, there will be someone who has the same way of thinking and goes onto to the same destruction and devastation that Hitler and his men did. Everyone always says that history repeats itself so I feel like another holocaust is bound happen but it may not happen in our lifetimes or even in our great grand children's lifetimes.

People don't learn from past problems and horrfic events. 🤬, racism and culturing out society is still going on in today's world. It will always, sadly, be a thing to happen. So, there is always going to be conflict. I personally believe one day conflict will arise and another tragic event will occur. We aren't immune to another mass, tragedy.

I do believe that there are still people in this world today that have the evil mindset that the Nazis had. The mindset that allowed them to 🤬 millions of Jews with no mercy. As a society, we have endured many tragic events in the past, and I'm sure there will be many more in the future. But we are not immune to having a 🤬 or any form of chaos happen, neither is any other country and that continues to present its self in third world countries that have mass murders every day. We as a society are never immune to have something like the Holocaust happen again. And I don't think something like that will happen again, because as a society we have come a long way from 10 or 20 years ago.

As a society, we are not immune to 🤬. In fact, 🤬 happens daily somewhere on the globe. There is not much we can do to prevent it due to the division in our world. Most countries are not as accepting of religions and races as America is, which we can sometimes be oblivious to. We hear all the time of shootings in churches and synagogues even in our country. Something has to be done to stop the recurrence of mass murders.

We will never be immune from mass killings. Everyone has different views and solutions for everything; some may be right and some may be wrong. But now that we know more about these problems, we know how to deal with them better than what happened during the Holocaust.

We will probably never be completely immune from this happening again. 🤬 continues to happen all over the world, it is just not as large as the Holocaust. Discrimination still occurs by the difference in peoples religions and race, mainly because they don't have the same beliefs as others, viewing them as wrong or inferior. People are killed every day for their beliefs because of these mindsets.

As a society we will never be completely immune from this situation. History repeats itself all the time, and who's to say that this is not in our cards? Certain events similar to the holocaust take place on throughout the world almost everyday. Although we don't really see it, which is very similar to the newspaper idea back during the holocaust. As a generation with too much technology to handle, this could put us in grave danger. Technology will only be increasing and developing as years go on. I mean we're honestly probably only a tweet away from nuclear war. Anyway, as a society it's always best to try and prevent anything from happening. This is our home and we need to take care of it and all of the people living here with us.
