One example of this from my life was planning and attending college for the first time. This gave me confidence in who I would become.

During elementary I was very proud of my academic success. I won  many awards and spelling bees.

At this stage a child bonds with adult caregivers. 
An example of this in my life was being breast fed and bonding with my mother through it.  Although I would fuss when hungry, I learned I would be fed.
