They were in charge of everything but they were mainly in charge of the priests and nobles. This meant that they were very religious as well, and could step in and become a priest if they had to. Everybody and everything worked under the supervision of the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh gained all the respect from the citizens in the civilization.</div>]]></description>
