Aristotle believed that the idealized essence of an object existed separate from the object itself. In simpler terms, he believed that physical things were representations of perfect forms that existed in another reality. Through this idea, he didn't believe that the soul of a person existed within a body, rather that human consciousness existed in physical form.

Aristotle believe that all organisms on earth started in the sea. He believed that complex life evolved slowly from simpler life forms. His theory closely matched Charles Darwin's theory of evolution developed hundreds of years later. His theory was proven true by many studies and experiments done in modern times.

Aristotle's explanation of logic was the first attempt to explore the rationality of reasoning. In example where you may get a true conclusion on a false premise, Aristotle proved that reasoning is separate from the truthfulness of the premise in any given situation. In short, logical argument may have false premises and a true conclusion. On the other hand, true premises would always lead to a true conclusion.

Aristotle believed that some people were meant to be ruled while others were meant to rule. This idea inspired the founding fathers to set up a system of electing officials to run the government as stated in the Constitution. They did this because they believed the people of America were not capable of being leaders, so they made it so the people of America could elect a leader to make decisions for them.
