However, my "payment" is the good vibes given by those who enjoy the cakes that I bake. I have put my heart into baking ever since I was young, but I hardly baked anything edible back then. Fortunately, I did not give up. In addition to that, I am grateful for having such supportive parents who kept on encouraging me to pursue my hobby even though I messed up a lot and a little brother who paid me countless compliments and became my VIP customer. 

The period when the Covid-19 pandemic struck our country provided me with an abundant amount of leisure time to improve my baking skills and to try new recipes. The cakes I baked were surely healthier and tastier than those that are sold at bakeries because I adjusted the recipe based on my family's taste. I also reduced the amount of sugar in the recipes so that my grandmother, who has been suffering from diabetes, could give them a try. 

Well, as a result of the pandemic, my skills have been taken to the next level. On top of that, I was able to acknowledge the importance of my hobby.
