         <description><![CDATA[<div>The space race was to see which country could show off there technology the most and who had the better things.<br>The arms race was a competition to see who had the most powerful and strongest weapons.<br>The olympic games was probably the most entertaining one to watch out of all of them. both countries wanted to see who was the best at everything and the best overall and the most amusing part of all of them was the hockey game between the U.S. and the USSR. it was a U.S. victory and the USSR was the better team and it was called the miracle on ice.&nbsp;When the U.S. won the game it was considered a tie in all of the competitions and that the U.S. had a lead because of the USSR's unbeatable team.</div>]]></description>
