The 7 functions of marketing are price, selling , product , promotion ,distribution , Place and Marketing Information management . These functions help a business become better. Take Walmart for example. Walmart is a Place where your product is sold. Place is where the product is located or where its available. Distribution is when you take the products to a certain city or country so its available there. Company's distribute their products world wide so everyone can get them. Promotion is when you basically show off your product so more people can buy it. Like commercials and flyers. Price is how much the product is. Like a computer is $215. The Product is what you are going to sell the the community. An example of a product is the hoverboard someone decided to make this for kids to ride on. Selling is when a customer makes an offer to purchase the product. Marketing Information Management is when a company goes over its data and sales.
