The collision took place at 4:10am this morning. A nineteen year old man was taken to hospital and his condition is said to be critical. 

 A murder investigation is under way after a 37-year-old woman was found dead at an apartment in central Dublin last night. It happened at 11:30pm last night. The woman, who was a French national, was found with several stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Irish International Rules Team will be announced today. The captain has already been decided, Aidan O' Shea.

 

A 27-year-old man has been charged with murder over the death of a woman in Belfast.Anne O'Neill, 51, was found injured in the garden of her parent's home in the Ardmore Avenue area of Finaghy on Saturday morning.

Scientists say that it is believed to be from the oldest tsunami known. However, scientists now say the area was once a coastal lagoon that was hit by a tsunami about 6,000 years ago.


 Hundreds of thousands of Thais have lined the streets of Bangkok to pay their last respects to the late king.  
Many buildings are draped in yellow marigolds, while crowds of mourners are dressed in black as a mark of respect.

The revered king Bhumibol Adulyadej died in October 2016 aged 88.

The funeral officially started on Wednesday with a merit-making ceremony, a Buddhist rite, in the Grand Palace.  
On Thursday, a series of Buddhist rites began in the royal palace ahead of the procession.

The late king will be cremated later in a royal pyre to be lit by his son, King Maha Vajiralongkorn. The chariot carrying the urn in the second part of the funeral procession has been used since the late 18th Century. Weighing just under 14 tonnes, it was pulled by more than 200 soldiers.

The urn was then carried for several rounds around the cremation site, for the last leg of the procession.
