Before enrolling at the University of Arkansas, I was a student at Prairie Grove High School. I attended Prairie Grove's school districts ever since Kindergarten. Growing up I always had an interest in becoming a teacher. Teaching has been one of my biggest goals since I was five years old! When I was younger, I used to play "school" at my grandparents anytime I visited. My grandpa and I would spend hours a day pretending to be at school. I was the teacher and he was the student! Anything that I learned at school that week, I would teach my grandpa. To this day we still reminisce about the numerous amount of times he failed my class!

Teaching has been a main goal of mine since I was a child. Once I got into the U of A, it felt almost as if my dreams were coming true. I am currently attending the University of Arkansas as an education major. The campus is not only gorgeous, but it is very welcoming. I have loved my first year so far on campus, and I wouldn't change a thing. Some things I enjoy on this campus are not only the friends I've made, but also my professors. I love walking to my classes everyday and getting to see the real beauty of nature on campus! Outside of class I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, playing pickle ball, traveling, and spreading joy to others.

Once I graduate the University of Arkansas with my degrees, I hope to become a teacher within the Northwest Arkansas area. I am hoping to teach 2nd grade or 3rd grade, but I will be happy where ever I end up! My plan is to have a welcoming and safe classroom for my students. My goal is for my classroom to be the room that every student feels safe to enter. When I was in school, I always favored the classrooms that were colorful and had cool seating options. Having a fun classroom always improved my learning experiences, and even created good memories with my friends. I would love for my future students to have those same core memories!
