7 years ago, I got to visit Brazil at the time of the 2014 World Cup. At the time, I wasn't playing football yet, and the thought of playing this sport never even crossed my mind. But little did I know that this experience would spark my love for the beautiful game and change my life :)

When I was 6 or 7(?) My family and I went with my brother and his team (UAAP juniors at that time) to Cebu for a football competition, and the team was going to have dinner with the Azkals during the last night. Coincidentally, the Azkals stayed in the same hotel we were in, and lets just say I got the best pic with them compared to any of the players😏

This was the game that made my team (Kaya fc) back-to-back YFL Champions :) It was a really memorable moment since the game went to extra time with our center back scoring the winning goal from a halfway line free-kick.

This is a picture that was taken in the April of 2013 of me and many other kids my age, more or less, along with the Azkals back then (except for Phil Younghusband for some reason I no longer remember). It was really memorable, considering that I was able to take pictures with them, get a ball signed by all of them who were there, and even had a training session that they conducted.

This was the opening of the Gothia Cup in Sweden back in 2014. It was so hype since there were a lot of people in the stadium, and it's also fun representing the Philippines!

This was back in Grade 6, I represented my city trying to get into Palarong Pambansa. We played in the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan and I almost scored a penalty, until I skied it over the bar. One of the best fields in the Philippines and amazing experience all in all. We didn't get out of the group stage but we all played our best football.

The junior high school field was the place where I gathered multiple memories of playing football with my friends and battling other sections in intrams and sportsfest. I knew one day I would not be able to go there and play with my friends anymore, although it happened earlier than expected because of the pandemic. Realizing that other people actually have not stepped on the field is sad and I hope to you all get to go there soon. (I also plan to go there and play the day we can go to school.)

I don't have any particular story to share, so I just got one of the more recent after-playing pictures from messenger (I either looked not too fresh after playing or too emotional because it would be on of my last sessions in the football ajhs org in the other pictures). Needless to say, I only have good memories of the football org and I'm looking forward to playing with everyone!

This was in the Coca-Cola Festival in 2013, and I was with my Roxas Wildcats team from Batangas. This was the last team that I was in since I moved to Manila the next year. Compared to other tournaments I played in before, this was very fun, exciting, and challenging which is why it is one of my most memorable football experiences.

I don't have a picture of the actual event, so here's a pic of the shoes that I wore (while they were still brand new) when my class won the Inter-Cluster Sportsfest during our Cluster Night. We were paired up as well with the other sections that had the same colored P.E. shirt from the other grade levels in our cluster. A little bit of context for those not from the AJHS, a "cluster" is basically the same thing as the strands in the Senior High School but based on important locations in Saint Ignatius' life instead of the various subject areas like the strands. Anyway, this was memorable as this was the first official, albeit friendly, competition in Football that I had won not only with my friends and classmates, but with a whole team.

Hands down my best memory with my team back at my old school was when we had a game the same day as our school fair. I remember us all dressed up in our jerseys while everyone was dressed in casual and we all took a bus going to the field, then playing for the whole 45 mins (it was half field game) and it also rained which was so fun:) We ended up winning 4-1 and on the way back to school we bought Mcdo and literally half of the team was part of school fair production so we rushed to take a shower and go to soundcheck for our last event and the whole day was just so fun:)

I spent Grade 10 focused on student council duties, but one of my best memories would be managing our new high school team ! Our school didn't actually have a football team until about 5 years ago, so it was cool to see lots of our juniors try out for the sport. I was also able to help out for training sessions that helped us all become better and have lots of fun :)

One of the best experiences in my career was with this team in 2019. We were competing in our city meet with an age limit of 18 years. However, our team was composed of mainly 15 and 16 year olds which made us great underdogs in this competition. Thankfully, with a lot of effort and teamwork, we managed to reach the final of the competition. We ultimately lost in the final but this was a great learning experience for me going up against older opponents. I was happy with the camaraderie our team had as this whole experience pushed me to be the best player and teammate I can be.

Since I don't have much football experience, I would like to share my experience the first time that I played. It was an unexpected game; I had only attended one training session and they already allowed me to participate in the game. It was such a memorable experience since I did well in that game and even scored my first ever goal.
