         <description><![CDATA[<div>Somalia began the decade with one of the worst droughts ever seen in the region. Since 2011 due to climate change, Somalia has had only <em>one </em>rainy season. The main causes of the droughts are instability, conflict, and climate change.  The drought (together with conflict) is also one of the causes of famine. Since as the NASA report says, heatwaves and temperature will continue to rise during the summers, this might become an even bigger problem. Before, really intense heat days would occur every 20 years minimum, now they might occur every 2 years.</div>]]></description>

Due to the increase in population growth, water demand is expected to increase. Water resources are expected to decline due to increased drought conditions. Moroccos climate is as vaired as its topography (the atlas mountains in the center, plateus in the east, Rif mountains in the north and desert in the south). With temp. rising, thsi reduces stream flows and water availability overall. Increase frequency of intense rainfall events lead to reduced surface water quality due to concentrations of pollutants.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Climate change is primarily caused by human activities that affect the natural greenhouse. Earth is becoming effected in climate terms everywhere, but in every country it's different because of the circumstances. The population, the size, the law, etc. Sarajevo is a small city in a small country that was once part of Yugoslavia. It is surrounded by mountains, fresh air, and yearly, during cold weather, there is a lot of smog coming from mountains, but about four years ago there was a terrifying smog that was not naturally caused. I personally go every year, multiple times, through different seasons and I have noticed a huge difference between last summer and this summer. Last summer, it was extremely hot and this summer, there were very few sunny days. Last winter it was freezing come, to the point where I cried and this christmas, a simple jacket was enough and it barely snowed. One year, there war a meter of snow, where the whole city was blocked to exit their locations. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As mean annual temperatures increased by 1ºC over the last century in Japan, days with maximum temperatures higher than 35ºC have also increased. Average winter temperatures in Hokkaido have increased by 1.3ºC over the last century, and the number of days with cold temperatures have decreased along  with frost frequency and the amount of snowfall. The frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, such as heavy rain, has increased, as well as the number of days with no rain. Temperature is expected to increase 2-3ºC over the next 100 years for all of Japan. This means that there is/will be an increase in heatwave intensity and heat stress, putting vulnerable populations, such as the elderly, at risk. There is also an increase in likelihood of infectious and vector and waterborne diseases, allergies and allergy-related diseases, cost of living and protection from more extreme weather events, and demand for water supply (1.2-3.2%).</div>]]></description>
