I was born and raise in the mining environment where I considered the salad bowl since different ethnicity live for the prosperity of each other - the Philex Mines, Sitio Padcal, Camp Three, Tuba, Benguet.

My life is as colorful as the rainbow. I have been through A LOT  in my 30 years of existence - battles are well fought and victories are momentously celebrated. 

I am currently employed in the University of the Cordilleras as a University Instructor and I am enjoying the realms of teaching. Before I came to UC as a teacher, I have been through different jobs like ESL Discussion Teacher, ALS (Alternative Learning System) Volunteer Mobile Teacher, Inventory Clerk and Analyst, Senior Auditor and Event Organizer. I can't imagine doing accounting job far from my major which is Bachelor of Arts in English, but, I need to survive so I have to work. Flourishingly, I succeeded them all with not to mention some of the notable recognition the company could give.  

For years, I have been lover of the art - from dancing, singing, paintings and literature. Well, in fact, one of my favorite past time is spending my time starring, analyzing, and appreciating the arts - and most of the time. Consequently, I delved into doing it also as a mean of my mental, emotional, and spiritual expression. I do them all but not that experts or Nazi. 

Travelling is really one of my favorite hobby - going to places and exploring the wonder of it gives me chills. I am an adventurous person - exploring and taking risk are just one of my quality.  For me, taking risk is gaining and not gambling - without the courage you will not bloom. It explains it all - I'm a warrior with the heart of a lion.

Other from the mainly mentioned hobby, I am doing sports like volleyball and badminton, going out with friends and doing tutorial services (Since pandemic and I get commissions :P).  I really have a lot of hobbies - not to mention but I also love eating and cooking. I also got a TESDA Certification in Cookery NCII at BSAT (Baguio Schools of Arts and Trade). 

I always have this thriving spirit to be of help to others and be the light in their darkness. I love doing community extension programs to the outlying areas in my community to address the need of everybody. I love challenges - it's my breakfast, actually! :D 

Moreover, to talk with research interest, I am pretty much interested in Discourse Analysis, Forensic Linguistics and Translanguaging as most of my attended trainings and webinar are focused on the two. Furthermore, I am exploring the world of Migration Linguistic and what it will bring forth for future development.

I am currently an executive specialist in the private sector. I am working from home so I rarely go out. Its less hassle and more convenient. However, the downside is that I have limited opportunities for socializing, and I occasionally miss interacting with others 😅.

In terms of my research interests, I focus on the underprivileged sectors of our community, the elderly, and the children. I am passionate about studying psychology with the aim of helping children, particularly those who suffer from Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), to navigate and cope with the world through therapy. My ultimate goal is to become a therapist and make a positive difference in their lives. I am dedicated to this pursuit and constantly striving to achieve it.

I am also much interested in dealing with children even those whom I just met for the first time. It becomes my natural reaction to converse and play with them.
