Currently, China and Taiwan are the main nations involved. However, if China does potentially invade Taiwan, the United States and Japan will most likely take action against China. According to one source, only North Korea is China’s formal ally, after signing the Treaty of Friendship, Co-operation, and Mutual Assistance” in 1961.

If China potentially invades Taiwan, the United States may get involved since, even though they have agreed to see Taiwan as a part of China, they will most probably join the war since they have military in the Taiwan Strait between Taiwan and China. Japan will also join the war if China invades Taiwan. In summary, World War III would basically occur if things get out of place quickly.

From seeing what happened during the Russia-Ukraine war, they will do anything to fight for independence for their country against China.

I think that China shouldn’t invade Taiwan, seeing as how the Russia-Ukraine war is turning out so far. Although it would be interesting to see how a war between Taiwan and China would turn out, people are still people, and I don’t want more deaths then there should be in the world right now.

You can comment on your views about the tensions between China and Taiwan using the comment section down below.
How powerful is China’s military compared to Taiwan’s?

This is just one example of a comparison between China’s and Taiwan’s military power. It explains that Taiwan’s military power is much, much lower than China’s because, if you look at China’s ranks compared to Taiwan’s, Taiwan has lower ranks than China. The ratio between the military power is also a negative correlation between the one to one ratio of China to Taiwan.
