Then you split the kids up into as many teams as you want. You give the kids a question, and they have to solve it. You can either do the first team to get it right or just if they have the right answer, however you want to do it that way, and one member of the team(s) that got it right goes up to pick a random popsicle stick. They show/give it to you, and you write it on the board (Sally's team: +42, -12, -3, +16...).

At the end, before you tally up the scores, you flip a coin to see if the team with the highest points is the winner or the team with the lowest points is the winner. Make sure you tell them before that it could be the highest points OR the lowest points that wins so they don't get discouraged if they have a lot of - numbers.
