We first meet Yuri Katsuki, who is having problems with his figure skating career. While visiting his friend he throws his skates back on and perfectly mimics the advanced skating routine performed by his idol. Victor Nikiforov, a five time consecutive World Championship gold medalist, sees Yuri’s viral video of his routine and flys over to coach him. Through the series we experience the challenging world of figure skating, we see Yuri’s character grow, and his relationship with Victor develop.

This show is about two teenage boys, named Nine and Twelve, going by the code name “Sphinx” to steal an atomic bomb and threaten the city of Tokyo unless a cryptic riddle is solved. The boys are survivors of a secret experiment in the Rising Peace Academy. In this grand game with the whole of Japan they befriend Lisa, a lonely high school girl, who becomes caught up in their plans to expose the organization.

 In the midst of 1930s - 1940s Japan, the spirited young artist Suzu is married off to Shusaku, a member of the Japanese navy. As food supplies dwindle, Suzu continues to brighten the days by remaking clothes and drawing pictures. When an air raid threatens their little town the things Suzu values most are lost, but the days continue on. (Fumiyo Kono, 2016) This film details the lives of townspeople during WWII, watching the Hiroshima bomb and surviving after it.

• Chains Man is a japanese anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the series debuted in 2022 and rapidly captured the imagination of anime fans with its dark, frenetic action, quirky character set and bold visuals.  

• The plot centers on Denji, a destitute young man who is in over his head with his late father’s ginormous debt. 

• in the anime, Denji at the start is a demon hunter who sells demon parts for money, but one day one of the people he'd give the demon parts to betrayed him sending a zombie army for him which killed him but his bet pochata gave his heart to him saving his life and he becomes chainsaw mam.

it follows Mukouda Tsuyoshi, a man is transported to another dimension where everything if magical and mythical and he starts his own market and uses the  online supermarket to get ingredients the fantasy world doesn't have with is powerful companion, the legendary wolf fenrir. 

Film and Overview & Short Synopsis Jujutsu Kaisen made in 2021 by Gege Akutami and directed by Sunghoo Park is an anime based on a boy named Yuji Itadori. the anime is about a boy in high school who is in a Supernatural Club called Occult Club. one day Takeshi Iguchi and Setsuko Sasaki, Yuji's club members found a Cursed Artifact also know as a demons finger. there's a fight that happens and take his friends so demon hunters come to the school trying to kill the demon but Yuji comes in and for some reason eats the finger venoming 2 split personalities one demon said and just Yuji, the film is a mix of both supernatural and action and emotion depths, the show mainly focuses on Grief, acceptance

This bittersweet teenage love drama underlines the significance of making your own destiny through manifesting happiness, and practicing independence and responsibility (Merlin, 2019).

Despite their traditional approach, Some scenes, especially with music, implemented a rotoscoped technique for a live performance (Otaku, 2019).

Kids on the slope was inspired by Yuki Kodama’s youth being loosely based off of her life in nagasaki and communicates to young audiences that mistakes are human experience and encourages them to discover themselves. 

This series was evidently inspired by classic American literature, often alluding characters with Ernest Hemingway's narratives of The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1961)(Watts, 2021). In relation to the snow's Kilimanjaro motif, Banana fish was created as an en-kindling message of perseverance, redemption and acceptance; that you are more than your past.

During the creation of Dororo, Tezuka was heavily inspired by the Japanese mythology and folklore of the Muromachi Period. This is extremely obvious due to the protagonist Hyakkimaru being a fictional derivation of the Japanese kami ‘Hiruko’ (Wojcik, 2019).

Dororo is a beautifully artistic and Gorey parable to the fact that we develop a sense of individuality through commitment and stands as a reminder that no one is born ‘whole’ (Bazar, 2020).

Iwataki was often tasked with directorial, and head of position roles and was highly valued for his professional techniques and storytelling capabilities. ( Nwaenie, 2024).

With its name meaning ‘youth’, This art depicted young characters with simple shape language, vivid colours and expressive features as it was catered to a younger audience.

Chainsawman is a Japenese Anime Written by Tatsuki Fujimoto and directed by Ryū Nakayama. initially, the manga was released in 2020 with the anime adaptation being released in 2022.

Zombieland Saga was created in 2018 and the message for it is “We want to live”. “A usual morning, the usual music, my usual self. Our peaceful, everyday lives… were destroyed. By the zombies.” (Zombieland Saga Wiki | Fandom, 2018) The anime art style for Zombieland Saga is kemonomimi, and the concept is Comedy Horror. This anime was created for people who like anime, idols, and the supernatural.

The anime was created all the way back in 2015 and is based on fantasy styled games like Runescape. The anime style is kemonomimi like most of the anime from Cygames, and the concept is Fantasy. This film is created to bring the characters from the original game into anime. The technique that MAPPA used for Princess Connect is 2D-styled anime CGI to make it look like it was based on Cygames’ 3D game variant. This show symbolises the love for successful games throughout Japan by turning them into anime. MAPPA has considered this because they knew the potential that this anime had before it became forgotten.

The message in this show is that gambling can lead you to all wicked directions, but mostly bad ones. Kakegurui takes place at Hyakkaou Private Academy, a very wealthy academy, where the goal is to read the opponent's mind, in the style of gambling, where the winner takes all, and the loser loses it all. (IMDb. 2018, February 1) The anime style is shonen, and the concept is gambling and psychological thriller. This show was inspired by the multiple wealthy casinos around the world, and also the academy animes like Assassination Classroom. Kakegurui was created for those who are interested in action alongside animated thrillers.
