It’s actually a great but difficult skill to see things from other peoples perspectives. Especially when there is no right or wrong opinion.

It is impossible to get others perspective fully but the idea is to think beyond your own perspective and consider other possibilities and options. There are some themes like history, feelings, religion: if you learn about something like that and talk to others you’ll find people whose point of view is completely different. To think from other people’s perspective you need to listen carefully and do not see red every time their opinion is different from yours, you don’t have to agree but some thoughts are worthy of being listened. This is a golden opportunity to expand your thinking beyond the conclusions you made before, and which are often based on a not enough thinking or lack of information. Sometimes when i argue with someone I’m having a black out because I hear some things which really make sense and wonder: how didn’t I think about it earlier? When you think from another person’s perspective, your own views and expectations are not imposed by them. You become more open minded and understanding towards them. You need to listen long enough to collect the information you need to create a perspective.
