Darwin's Theory of Evolution plays a big part in the real world. First of all it keeps major animals and organisms from going extinct. It lets them adapt so they can keep well fed or just hide from predators. For example, there are different turtles around the world that function way differently. There necks are different so they can access their food. Ther shells can be different so they can stay protected and dry from the rain. There are many more species that have this, but a turtle is the main example.
