The corpse had been laying there for a few days. Maggots had gained possession of it, beating out the flies and the vultures. It's face, and we'll call it it for the fact that there was only a torso, had been eaten down to the bone, but the eyeballs still sat in their sockets, still connected to the brain that was leaking out of the shattered skull. It's unfortunate, really. It was probably a nice... it before I killed it.

I entered the house with my family. The rusty stone brick of the house is hardly visible between the dark shadows and very minimum moonlight. The realtor, a man with many scars, a chain around his neck, very white hands, and golden teeth, steps out of the darkness.“You’re house is right here. Follow me.”A creepy sensation walks along with me, a feeling that I’m not supposed to be here, with both the empty shadows and the clock that won’t stop ticking. My family trots long, my older sister and younger brother, my mom and my dad, who don’t really notice what’s going in.The realtor goes around the house with us. My mom brings us the portrait of an old man, “Times Potts”, a man with a skull-like head, and eyes who glared at you. “Who is this man?”

The clock chimed 3:00. “Ding, ding, ding.” A few lights still shone in the house giving it an eerie feeling. I slipped unnoticed through the half open door casting a dark shadow across the floor, a shadow that had no body and no breath… yet. My shadow spread across the floor and in the baby's crib, this was just what I needed. A deep hunger filled me as I bowed over the crib, staring at my prey. It had no idea
