This image created by Ralph Charles portrays Yetta's view of the union. Yetta believed that they would be very strong if all the shirtwaist strikers were united. Yetta pushed for a general strike, where all workers come together to strike as one. Yetta knows that if they all work together, they can achieve more. Yetta proves this when she thought: "We can do this! All of us girls together..." on page 109. Clearly, this image depicts what her perspective on the strike was.

This picture shows the HD Bob Shirtwaist strikers. This portrays Yetta’s view of the strike, many strikers united together, all working for the same cause. It shows how Yetta wanted the strike to be: a large group of like-minded individuals. In addition, Yetta didn’t think of society women as part of the strike. Yetta believed that the strike was only for strikers, not society women. The image shown depicts her perspective as there are only workers in the image. Lastly, Yetta supported women’s rights and women being leaders. On page 109, Yetta states: “A grumbling against all the men who rule the world” This shows that Yetta does not like men “ruling the world”. In the image there isn’t a man at the head of the crowd, there are women. Clearly, this image is a depiction of what Yetta wants from a union.

Yetta wanted people to know the truth. She wanted to show the world the truths of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory and how badly the workers are treated. On page 162 it is written: "...that sounded so wonderful all of a sudden to be out in the bracing wind, telling the world the truth..." This shows that Yetta wants the world to know the truth, no matter the cost. In the image, the strikers are telling everyone about the hidden horrors they face. Yetta wants to tell the world about the injustices that she had faced at Triangle. Clearly, this image is a true depiction of Yetta's perspective.
