May 14, 2022
"Be gentle with yourself"

The past months made me a little weary. I have been constantly juggling some tasks which for me are inevitable. I was also struggling with some expectations I set for myself, specifically in the field of teaching. I always want to give the best for them, as I expect a teacher should be. A teacher who inspires , motivates, and educates. However, there would be moments when my time is being constrained by some other commitments.
I would admit... Most of the time, I put so much pressure on myself to accomplish all those on the "Things-to-do" List. Probably, this is one thing I need to overcome in the next few months: "being gentle to myself".

-Bojing

June 28, 2022
"Life teaches us many lessons, depends on us whether we want to learn it."

Being in mid20s has made me a lot of life realizations.

Most of the time, I am afraid to take another step forward because of the concept of failing. However, I realized most people who win and learn are those who try and those who opted to continue despite the uncertainty of tomorrow. Let me share with you an unforgettable conversation I recently had.

One time, I was conducting an interview with a graduating student whom I don't know personally. We had a wonderful conversation and she was sharing how she survived such a personal struggle. I was so overwhelmed as I listened to her, she was as joyful as I am when I was still young. I could sense how much this young lady has grown over the years through the conversation we had. She was indeed inspiring. At the end of our conversation, she mentioned that she had seen me during my Senior Year in College and was inspired with my bravery in life. CHARRR. (Well, my senior year was the most challenging year of my college life as I just began doing some things beyond my comfort zone!) At that very moment, I realized that: " I didn't failed that certain year of my life... because I made someone to keep going.."

Yep! There will be moments when we are so disappointed. We feel so unaccomplished but never give up because maybe... there is someone looking at you as their inspiration to continue.

Always be reminded: There is no such thing as "failure" as long as we learn from it. Have a wonderful evening!

-Bojing

July 1, 2022
"Your Future is created by what you do today not tomorrow"

I have been thinking lately what's the future ahead of me. I have been thinking of what I really want to pursue and what I really want to do for the rest of my life. I know I was thinking deep for some people who are saying I'm still young. Yes, I am an overthinker.

Today, I realized I should focus instead on my inner peace and achieve my every-single-day life goal: to motivate and uplift the soul of other people.

It is okay to feel disappointed, to be stressed in life, and to be demotivated. It is part of life, it is part of growing up and It is part of getting stronger every day. That is one of the formulas that create better people. After those unwanted emotions, we need to get back to our feet and move forward because life won't stop there. There are still so many bumpy roads that we will take and always remember: "There will be greater things that we will still need to experience and we should not lose that opportunity". Indeed, our future depends on the decisions that we take today.

-Bojing

July 2, 2022
"Be grateful: Unexpected commitments"

This year is probably the funniest year of my life. There are things I didn't expect to happen that always made me asking: "Why"?

Whenever I see myself walking in the corridors of these workplaces( CU and DA), I can always see a flashback of my younger self. A kid who is just roaming around looking for something within herself. It is puzzling because I never imagined myself doing these things.

I remember saying to myself numerous times, "Dili jud ko ganahan og commitments" HAHAHAHAHA But suddenly, I see myself now having the highest degree of commitment and dedication. HAHAHAHA

I don't know what to look forward to in the future but I was hoping I will do something different , again.

-Bojing

July 19, 2022
"Growing up happens when you start having the things you look back on and wish you could change"

There are a lot of things I want to change especially in how I handle my stresses, my disappointments, and my self-doubt. People would probably see me as a woman gaining confidence because of what I do recently- going out of my comfort zone. I attended some invitations such as being part of the panel, attending academe reviews, and taking on some responsibilities in the community. However, I feel like there are still things I need to change to improve myself. So whenever, I am in this moment of thinking, I realized I am probably just growing up.

The sad part when I enter this kind of change is, that I cannot anymore return to being a kid.

Yep, we really reach that certain age of our life probably... that we need to embrace the changes... and set aside the inner kid in us.

-Bojing

Sometimes you just need to relax, breathe, let go, and live in the moment"

I would not say that I have finally adjusted to these changes- It would be an overstatement. However, one thing is certain, I am learning.

At some point in time, I thought I am the only one facing struggles in life. That, the people around me are extremely always in their happy moments. But through having a conversation with them, I realized everyone has some grievances to spill but they opted to put them in reticence. Maybe because their silence signifies their "peace of mind". That is why, instead of overthinking things, I would rather spend the rest of my time reflecting and gaining good quality thoughts. It should always be my priority in the succeeding months.

-Bojing

Have you ever felt that certain moment when you have been exerting your best effort, but things don't go as you planned? As always, I have been setting so many expectations. Still, the week was productive. I was able to finish half of my workloads, attend virtual classes and pieces of training actively, and do some write-ups.
Probably, I need to make more adjustments in the next months as I increase my stress in life. I know I would come to a moment that I want to cry because I can't do all my "things to do list" AGAIN... I would question myself for being incapable. I would doubt myself for not being enough. I would cry for not meeting the deadlines I set. AND THAT'S OKAY!

Self, That's okay!
Self, you are just doing fine!

-Bojing

Three long months have passed since my last post.

I didn't expect to be updating this late because I was expecting to upload write-ups every week. Hehehe (I was a little busy in the past months thou)

My last post was actually about attaining work-life balance and I could (proudly) say I am somehow achieving it. Hahahaha Despite some extra miles I still undertake at work and at school, I could still able to do those things I love.

Some of the things I like about these past months are, I was able to spend time with my family and have some deep conversations. (I could frequently have deep talks with them compare before na so limited ra gyud). Also, I could find time to read bedtime stories with my niece, and teach her how to read (which is a litttleeee difficult for me because of my not-so-longggg patience. I easily get irritated gyud. Grrrr!)

I may have not been able to meet my friends, (because I know they are also busy with their respective life duties), but I could find time to hang out with new friends (which is just a few too because I am basically an introvert). Anyways, I think I need to find time meeting them soon.

I am so much grateful too because I could watch my favorite kdramas (which is a little restricted before because of academe requirements I need to prioritize). I wouldn't deny I am waiting for Season 2 of Alchemy of Souls. (Can't wait to watch the new season soon!)

Yep! I was dealing with so many things these past months. I even said: "Yes" to another life responsibilities despite the unending lineup of current life duties. However, challenges spice life. There are problems thrown at me, but I know I can face them. charrrrrr XD

I pray we always find peace in everything we do and ... Always do more of what makes us happy!

Have a great evening!

-Bojing
